What’s the difference between carriage bolts and coach bolts?
Carriage bolts have a round domed head with a square shoulder under the head to grip wood and prevent spinning. Coach bolts usually have a hex head and are driven using a wrench. Both are designed for timber-to-timber or timber-to-metal applications.

Are washers required for carriage bolts?
Yes, we recommend using washers under the nut to protect surfaces and ensure even load distribution.

Are carriage and coach bolts corrosion-resistant?
